The actual treatment usually takes a maximum of half an hour. The chin region is disinfected and superficially anaesthetized with an anaesthetic cream. Dr. Schumacher then begins to inject the chin by carefully inserting the filler into the skin and gently sculpting it into the desired shape.

After chin augmentation with hyaluronic acid, the result is immediately visible but may still be affected by slight swelling. After a few days at the latest, when the swelling has completely subsided, you can look forward to the final result.

After chin injections, you should take it easy for 1-2 days and avoid massaging the treatment areas. The hyaluronic fillers can still be displaced in the skin immediately after the treatment, which is why any pressure should be avoided.

We also recommend avoiding sport, the solarium and sauna for a few days and avoiding direct sunlight. Careful cooling can help with initial swelling or hematomas.
